batchedits login opens BatchEdits in your browser to approve the CLI, then stores the login in ~/.config/batchedits. The token is never printed, so an agent can run commands without ever seeing it. On servers and CI, set BATCHEDITS_API_KEY with a key from your settings.
Use it from an AI agent
Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes and Codex run the CLI directly. Paste this into your agent's instructions or skill file:
Edit videos with the BatchEdits CLI (run `npx batchedits --help` for all commands):
- Sign in once: `npx batchedits login` (or set BATCHEDITS_API_KEY).
- List styles: `npx batchedits styles --json`
- Edit a folder end to end: `npx batchedits run <folder> --style "<style name>" --out <folder> --yes --json`
- Processing uses credits: confirm with the user before passing --yes.
- Exit code 5 means re-run with --yes; 3 means sign in first. For ChatGPT, claude.ai and other remote agents, connect the MCP server instead.
