ChatGPT video editor, 50 videos at once
Attach a video in ChatGPT and ask for captions, silence removal or a 9:16 crop. BatchEdits does the editing and ChatGPT sends you the download link.

Select up to 3 videos. We'll show you how fast our AI processes them in bulk.
Ran a batch of 12 talking-head clips through it and the silence trimming was impressively clean, no awkward half-words cut mid-syllable like I was expecting. Captions landed pretty close to perfect on the first pass.

Review on Product HuntHow to edit videos in ChatGPT
ChatGPT connects to BatchEdits through its MCP server. You add it once as a connector, then edit from any chat.
- 1
Add BatchEdits as a connector
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode if your plan asks for it, and create a connector with this URL and OAuth sign-in.
https://batchedits.com/api/mcp - 2
Log in once
A BatchEdits login page opens from ChatGPT. No account yet? Create one there and get 10 trial videos.
- 3
Attach a video and ask
Attach a video to the chat and say what you want. It's uploaded straight to your BatchEdits workspace; ChatGPT confirms before using credits and sends the download link when it's done.
Things to ask ChatGPT
- “Upload this video to BatchEdits and add captions.”
- “Remove the silences and crop this to 9:16 for TikTok.”
- “Cut this podcast into 5 short clips with captions.”
- “Is my BatchEdits video ready? Send me the download link.”
Can ChatGPT edit videos?
ChatGPT by itself can only talk about a video: it can describe what's in it or write an ffmpeg command, but it never hands back an edited file. Connect BatchEdits and that changes. Attach a clip, ask for captions in 99+ languages, dead air removed, a vertical crop or AI clips, and you get a download link for the finished video. Batches of up to 50 videos at once work too.
How do I get videos from ChatGPT into BatchEdits?

What happens when you ask ChatGPT for the best bulk video editor?
See for yourself.

I'm Shayan, the creator of BatchEdits. I've been building in public and shipping products for years.
I've listened to Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee, and every top creator talk about what actually grows an audience.
They all say the same thing.
Post consistently. Post volume. The creators who win aren't the ones with the best editing — they're the ones who show up every single day.
But here's the problem nobody talks about:
Editing is the wall that stops most creators from ever getting there. You film 10 videos and spend 3 weeks editing them one by one .By the time you finish, your momentum is gone, your ideas have gone stale, and you're too burned out to film the next batch.
The content game is won in the upload, not the edit.
So I built BatchEdits for 3 reasons:
- Post 30 videos in the time it takes most creators to edit one and finally have the volume that grows channels.
- Discover what consistent posting actually does to your growth and stop leaving views on the table by showing up halfway.
- Win with volume , because the creator who posts 30 videos will always beat the one who posts 5 perfectly edited ones.
The edit should never be the reason you're not posting.

ChatGPT and BatchEdits: common problems
- No place to add a connector
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and turn on developer mode. Custom connectors aren't available on every ChatGPT plan.
- ChatGPT answers without BatchEdits
- Pick the BatchEdits connector from the + menu before sending, so ChatGPT can call its tools in that conversation.
- Sign-in keeps failing
- Delete the connector and create it again with the URL https://batchedits.com/api/mcp and OAuth authentication.
- ChatGPT says you're out of credits
- Credits ran out for this month or the trial. Pick a plan on batchedits.com and ask ChatGPT to try again; nothing needs reconnecting.
- No download link yet
- A one-minute clip takes roughly a minute. Ask "is it done?" in a minute or two; ChatGPT only shares the link once the status says completed.

Can ChatGPT edit multiple videos at once?
Yes. Ask ChatGPT to open the BatchEdits uploader and drop in as many as 50 files. Every one of them gets the look you described, and they're processed side by side rather than one after another.
How do I connect BatchEdits to ChatGPT?
Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT (developer mode may need switching on), create a new connector, paste https://batchedits.com/api/mcp as the URL and pick OAuth. ChatGPT then sends you to BatchEdits to log in or create an account.
Which ChatGPT plans support it?
Any plan where developer mode lets you add custom MCP connectors. On the BatchEdits side you need an account; the 7-day trial pays for the first videos you edit.
Can I attach videos directly in the chat?
Yes. A video attached to the chat is uploaded straight to your BatchEdits workspace. For many videos at once, ask ChatGPT to open the BatchEdits uploader.
Does ChatGPT spend my credits without asking?
No. Before any editing starts, ChatGPT tells you how many credits it will take (one per video, one per AI clip) and waits for your OK. BatchEdits has no delete tool, so nothing in your account can be removed from the chat.
Is there a version without the terminal or code?
Yes, that's this one. Connecting ChatGPT needs no code: you paste one URL into ChatGPT's settings once.
Is BatchEdits free to use in ChatGPT?
Adding the connector costs nothing. Each edit is paid for in BatchEdits credits: 10 come with the 7-day trial ($0 today), and Creator Starter adds 30 a month for $20.
What happens to my videos after editing?
They stay in your BatchEdits dashboard, where you can download them again or delete them. ChatGPT only ever sees your own workspace.
